Please join us for this two-mile walk for animals in Washington Park at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, benefiting the Dumb Friends League.

This fundraiser helps us care for as many as 24,000 homeless pets every year and provide valuable services to our community.

REGISTRATION TIMES

Online registration closes at 5 p.m. on May 4
Day-of registration will begin at 7 a.m.
Walk will commence at 9 a.m.

EVENT FESTIVITIES

Enjoy refreshments and demonstrations before, during and after the walk.

Shop our Flealess Market for pet-friendly merchandise and services offered by more than 150 sponsors and vendors.

Enter our Pet/Person Look-alike, Best Pet Kisser, Best Tail Wagger and Best Trick contests beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Beds N Biscuits is sponsoring the 19th hole!

The 6th annual Mulligans for Mutts golf tournament will be held at Lakewood Country Club on June 13, 2011. Golfers can choose between a morning or afternoon flight. Participants will have the chance to win great prizes in various contests including putting, hole-in-one and ball drop. This popular event, which features adoptable dogs walked by shelter volunteers out on the course, has sold out the last two years, so sign up soon!

DHArMA, A 2-yEAr-OLD grEyHOuND; Emma, a 7-year-old Smooth Fox Terrier; and Daphne, a 9-month-old Afghan, are the delight of Bruce Miller’s life. Daphne is the newest family member and she is the explorer—looking over, around and under every piece of furniture in the house. “I’m not sure what she’s looking for, but I sure hope she finds it,” notes her dad, Bruce.

The event benefits Harrison Memorial Hospital, which is the largest non-profit veterinary hospital in Colorado.
